If you are one of the people that still enjoys rockin' some 'Halo 2' online or some 'Star Wars: Battlefront', this weekend is your last time to play these games online. On April 16th, there will no longer be any online support for original Xbox games. While this seems sad for original Xbox lovers, this will let the Xbox 360 Dashboard get some well needed updates that would be impossible to do if original Xbox Live support was still present (i.e. bigger friends list). Give Coagulation one final spin this weekend and get yourself ready for 'Halo: Reach'.
Microsoft has quietly changed the increments of their point system for online purchases. Rather than 500, it's now 400. So, $4.99 for 400pts, $9.99 for 800pts, $19.99 for 1600pts, and $49.99 for 4000pts. The change is to eliminate left over points. Nintendo needs to follow this change for their Virtual Console. I'm fed up with these 200 Points I've had for 9 months now.
