The trilogy will end (sure...) on April 5th, 2011. Mark your calendars. New updates to the series include new weapons (double-barrel shotgun, old-school Lancer with a bayonet), new enemies, 4-player co-op campaign, and as you can see in the trailer, beautiful graphics. Also, MCV states that the official Microsoft announcement hints that the end of the trilogy will be anything but. This will be the end of the Alpha squad story, but not the end of the series.

Apparently a lost treatment (commissioned by the late Stanley Kubrick from author and sometimes collaborator Jim Thomspon) is coming to the big screen. After the director's death in 1999, the manuscript entitled 'Lunatic at Large' was discovered by Kubrick's son-in-law Philip Hobbs.
