To try to take a swing at Gamefly before eventually going out of business, Blockbuster announced they will start including a "Games By Mail" service in their existing mail service. More details after the jump...



For an extra $7.99 onto regular monthly fees, Blockbuster Online users will be allowed 1 game out at a time, which counts towards the total number of discs they're allowed to have out under their subscription plan. Don't rent a lot of games, but still want the privilege of getting one if the time strikes? You don't have to pay if you don't get a game that month. Blockbuster is currently testing in Cleveland, Ohio and plans to expand this service nationwide before the end of the year.
